1. Hang the luggage scale in an upright position and press the power button
2. Momentarily press the power button within 5 seconds after powering the digital scale to select your preferred unit of weight:
g=Grams/Ib=Pounds/kg=Kilograms/Oz=Ounces
3. The screen will read 0.00 which indicates the scale is now ready to be used How to use it?

Amazingly accurate & very easy to use!

Hands down much more accurate than any non-digital scale previously used. Traveled with others that had non-digital and each one swore that they would be ordering their very own of this MYCARBON Digital Scale instead. Easy to travel with and keep on any trip too as it is quite durable. The settings can be switched from measuring in Kilograms or Pounds - which helps to avoid having to remember any conversion rates. If I had to select one negative factor using this scale, it's that if one does have heavier luggage, it does become a challenge to keep the luggage in place while waiting for the scale to get to the "hold" mode. By this I mean that one has to hold the luggage in place until the digital reading reads "hold". Once it does that, that is the final weight reading for your luggage. If it is a heavier piece, one will need to have quite strong arms to keep a heavier piece steady while the unit is measuring the weight. Other than that small minor part, this is one amazing scale that definitely measures accurately to relieve any worry about any excess baggage weight upon reaching the airport.

Quick and pretty cool

Takes a moment to figure out which units of measure (LB/KG) setting you're on and using and how to change. Does NOT require an in-depth read of the manual though, so don't buy into the hype about "terrible manuals". Yes, the manual ain't great, but it doesn't stop you, this it's only so big a problem...guess it depends on how picky you are for the price.Anyway, this thing quickly, and by all accounts also accurately and repeatably (I swapped back and forth between 4 items to ensure I got both a good measurement, AND a repeatable number) measured weights up to 50LBS for me. I'm reasonably sure it will perform up to it's specified max, but I didn't test its limits. It did nicely from around 2 LBS up to about 50LBS though. I would say this is hard to beat for the price, and I like the handle/ergonomics on this one better than the nearest competitors- even the Amazon-preferred one has a hokey handle. Pleased with my choice.

So the results are accurate.Till now the max. The luggage scale was good except for one feature.

The luggage scale was as described. Delivery was within one day after ordering. The scale seems to be accurate and easy to use. The directions were easy to read and understand. The only suggestion I have about this scale is that it is not easy to hang from a rod and then attach the luggage to check weight. It keeps slipping off. I have to hold it and and hang luggage from the loop and then raise the scale so the luggage clears the ground. With a 40-50 lb suitcase this is not easy. I have seen other scales with an attachment so that you can hang it on a bar and then attach the suitcase.
